DO NOT OPERATE W/FAILURES
With system at full pressure
1. Chalk wheels, release truck and trailer spring brake
2. Drain wet tank, (Air Dryer)
3. Drain primary reservoir and observe air gauge.
4. Check control and trl supply valve (Blended air).
5. Apply foot valve (modulator valve).
6. Drain secondary, (trailer) reservoir.(one way check valve)
7. Start Engine, Low warning system activates
8. At 50 PSI (345) start timing, build to 90 PSI (621) in 3 mins
9. At 60 PSI (414) low warning de-activates
10. At 90 PSI (621) check time, release park brakes, charge trl
11. 105-135 PSI (724-930) (governor), compressor unloads
12. Fan down brakes to 20 PSI (138) below max pressure, (governor, loading stage)
13. Continue fanning brakes down to 60 PSI (414) - low air warning activates
14. Continue fanning, at 45-20 PSI (310-138) trailer supply valve pops (trailer spring brakes Dynamite)
15. Continue fanning down, 45 - 20 PSI (310-138) control valve pops (Tractor spring brakes Dynamite)
16. Rebuild air pressure, at 90 PSI (621) release spring brakes
17. Continue to maximum pressure and shut off engine
18. Make full brake application and hold for 1 min, air loss no more than 3 PSI or 4 PSI (21 or 28)
19. Verify all brakes, (air leaks)
20. Break emergency line - trailer brakes dynamite immediately, tractor protection and trailer emergency braking operating
21. Reconnect emergency line
22. Break service line (no air loss)
23. With control glad hand in hand, rebuild air pressure if less than 90 PSI (621))
24. Apply foot valve. No Air loss,(verify gauge) Tractor protection system.
25. Rebuild air pressure to maximum PSI, apply spring brakes and remove chalks (Reconnect service line)
26. In low gear try to move forward (Veh. Should not move)
27. Release tractor parking brakes
28. Tug test on trailer spring brakes (Veh. Should not move)
29. Release trailer spring brakes
30. Apply hand valve, tug test on trailer service brake (Veh. should not move)
31. Move ahead slowly make a foot valve application (Brake response)
